What is Sana’i agarwood? Sana’i refers to a specific style and standard of processed agarwood, reflecting careful craftsmanship in how resin-rich wood is harvested, refined, and shaped into a finished product. Unlike broader agarwood suppliers, we focus exclusively on Sana’i, letting us go deeper on quality rather than wider on catalogue.

Where is PayuOud based? We operate out of Tangerang, Indonesia, through our parent company PT Monggo Jaya Berdikari, which has been producing agarwood products since our founder’s roots in traditional distillation began in 2001.

Our Products

What’s the difference between Royal, Premium, and Daily Oud? The grades are differentiated primarily by resin density, which affects scent complexity and longevity:

• Royal Oud — our finest grade, with the thickest resin content and boldest, most complex scent profile.

• Premium Oud — a moderate resin density offering a balanced, refined scent.

• Daily Oud — a lighter resin density for a cleaner, more approachable everyday scent.

How do I know which grade is right for me? If you’re new to oud, we generally recommend starting with Premium or Daily to get familiar with the scent family before working your way toward Royal. If you already appreciate bold, traditional oud character, Royal Oud is likely the best fit. You’re also welcome to message our team directly for personalized guidance.

How do I use Sana’i agarwood? Agarwood is enjoyed by heating, not applying to skin. The traditional method uses a lit charcoal briquette placed in a heat-safe burner, with a small piece of agarwood placed on or near the ember to release its aromatic smoke. Electric incense burners are also a popular, lower-heat alternative.

Will every piece smell and look exactly the same? No — because agarwood is a natural material, you may notice subtle differences in color, density, or scent intensity between batches, even within the same grade. This is a normal reflection of the material’s authenticity, not a defect.

How do I place an order? Our website functions as a digital catalogue to help you browse and choose products. To finalize an order, you’ll be redirected to our official WhatsApp admin, where our team will confirm product availability, order details, and payment.

What currency are prices listed in? All prices on our catalogue are listed in USD.

What payment methods do you accept? Payment methods and instructions are shared directly by our admin team via WhatsApp once your order is confirmed. We do not process payments through the website itself.

When is my order considered confirmed? An order is only confirmed once payment has been verified by our admin team through WhatsApp. You’ll receive confirmation directly through that conversation.

Can I change or cancel my order after messaging the admin? Please reach out to our admin team directly via WhatsApp as soon as possible. Changes may only be possible before payment has been finalized and verified.

Shipping & International Orders

Do you ship internationally? Yes, we accept international orders. Shipping timelines and costs will be confirmed with you directly by our admin team based on your destination.

Are there customs duties or import taxes on agarwood? International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country’s regulations. Because agarwood species can be subject to import restrictions in some countries, we recommend checking your local regulations before placing an order.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy? All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds under any circumstances once an order has been placed and processed — including for reasons such as scent preference, buyer’s remorse, or natural variation in the product.

Why don’t you accept returns? Because agarwood is a natural, consumable material, and quality/authenticity cannot be verified once a product has left our facility, we maintain a strict no-return policy to protect both our customers and our production integrity.
